What does K8JA cost me as a tenant?
Nothing — tenants are always free. Optional addons like sub-leasing are billed separately, only if you turn them on.
How do applications work?
You answer the owner's pre-screening questions once. Your answers are scored, the owner reviews, and you get an answer inside the app — with the deposit and fees spelled out before you commit.
Can I sub-lease my unit?
Yes, if the owner has enabled sub-leasing on the unit. You purchase the tenant sub-leasing addon, list your unit, and both you and the owner approve who moves in.
What happens when I want to move out?
Give your vacation notice in the app. It respects the notice period in your lease, and everyone knows the dates — no surprises on either side.
How do I get a repair done?
Raise a maintenance request from your dashboard with a description and photos. It goes to your landlord or property manager for approval, an approved job is broadcast to vetted providers, and you can follow the request from raised to resolved without chasing anyone by phone.
